2015 Art Directors Club Portfolio Night Allstar,
Shortlisted for The Hix Award,
Design Assistant on the Cannes Lion winning Drinkable Book.

After completing my foundation at St Martins I continued to study there for a fine Art degree before refining my passion towards advertising in a degree at London College of Communication/LCC. Above all, I love seeing how one is drawn to an advert, what draws you in, its air of the unknown, the feel of nostalgia it creates and how one engages with the idea. The un-thought known.

The Museum of Everything

After finishing at Saint Martins I worked for James Brett and helped him to develop The inaugural Museum of Everything: the branding and the art direction. This exhibition was a huge success and went on to tour Italy, Russia and last year featured in the Venice Biennale.

Marc Quinn

During my second and third year I worked for YBA Marc Quinn – famous for his pieces ‘Self’, ‘Alison Lapper’ and ‘Kate Moss in gold’. As head creative assistant, I not only helped him in the creation of his art but also with the overall artdirection and branding strategy. My thinking continues to be informed by fine art and my thesis examined the relationship of art and advertising – their interconnectedness and how they continually influence each other.

The HIX Award

After finishing university I was shortlisted for the prestigious Mark Hix Award where I exhibited my work alongside other young artists, and in front of judges such as Emin, Hirst and Hix. My work was originally created for a theoretical Unicef campaign but was deemed art-worthy enough that it was shortlisted.

Most recently I met with DDB New York at a portfolio review where they very much liked my ethos and creative, artistic approach to advertising, culminating in a placement on their Launchpad Scheme post graduation. While working at DDB NY I designed part of ‘The Drinkable Book for Water is Life’ which won Gold at Cannes in 2014. The ADC Young Guns campaign was also a favorite of mine despite being axed by George Lois after being live for 24 hours.

I have been involved with the Green Party for the past year. I initially volunteered to develop a new series of graphic posters and ways to encourage people to vote in local elections. I am now working with party leader Natalie Bennett to develop strategies to encourage young people to vote, something I believe is imperative. Together with another group of young green party members we are making exciting creative sharable content, be it videos, stunts or anything to make politics more accessible to young people and those who may have felt alienated by politicians in the past.

I am a individual from North London who loves , and takes immense pride in producing work.
